Impressive....
Maybe "ran when parked" will work in the eventual Craigslist ad. Or "NEW CARPETS!!!"

I'm betting things will work out for the two trucks, but the electrical system of the SUV is almost certainly shot. It was in too deep for too long.

I've been involved in dead-boat-beach-truck-tide-coming-in-oh-fuck rescues before. The tide rises surprisingly fast. No, you can't pull a boat trailer out of the water in sand, no matter how much you want to. What surprised me was the idiot that drove the Chevy truck out to the stranded Ford - yeah bud, you are going to get stuck too. At least don't sink your truck trying to be the hero.
The beach rescue I was involved in had three trucks (one stuck and two pulling, almost stuck) plus about 20 people pushing the boat. Still didn't work, so we had them take the boat off the trailer and drop anchor, and it still took all 20 people pushing all of the trucks to get it out. The stuck truck was a ford ranger, and we had a full size ramcharger and suburban pulling it, and even then it was a struggle WITH the extra bodies pushing.
But at NO TIME did we put the rescue vehicles near the water line.

Apparently in Canada it's common practice to launch boats with tractors...

Silly Canadians, you're only supposed to touch FROZEN water.
What were you thinking?!
And this is an obvious "my truck must be better than his truck" scenario.
Launching boats when tides and currents are involved is very tricky and requires skill and practice. This guy clearly didn't have either.

Don't ask a question you really don't want an answer too. :)

I've never seen so many dumb people in one place. Should've just left the silver SUV out there, it's a goner anyway.
